New Delhi [India], September 1 (ANI): Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva staged a protest against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s government on Sunday for failing to provide free electricity and free water in the slums of Delhi and looting the people.
The Delhi BJP President claimed that even after promise by the Delhi government of free electricity, even houses with small fans and lights are receiving high electricity bills.
“CM Arvind Kejriwal’s government has only looted the people of Delhi. They claimed that they are providing free electricity and water in all the slums in Delhi. And today, even a small room with just lights and fans is receiving an electricity bill of Rs 4000,” said Sachdeva.
Showing water bottle and an electricity bill from a slum area at Preet Vihar, he said that the people of Delhi are being robbed by putting tax on these utilities. “Here is a water bottle, and this is an electricity bill, with just having one room, where only one fan is used, they are getting such a high electricity bill. On all these bills there is a secret tax being and they are being looted by the Delhi government.”
He further criticised the conditions of roads in the capital and said that the BJP will expose the corruption of the government and that the people have decided to have the BJP come to power in Delhi.
“Look at the conditions of roads in Delhi, there is water pooling everywhere. With just 2 hours of rain or even half an hour of rains, Delhi starts to drown. BJP will disclose their corruption. Now the people have decided to throw out this corrupt government and make a BJP leader their CM”, he said.
Other BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj and Ramvir Singh Bidhuri also took out rallies against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Malviya Nagar and Indira Kalyan Vihar for failing to provide clean drinking water and free electricity to the people of Delhi. (ANI)
